Flying Blind

It’s coming…the infamous blind date that I alluded to a few shows back. I’m excited about it ‘because I think the entire experience is going to be hilarious. Can you imagine? Me going on a blind date, while trying not to laugh but be charming and engaging---all at the same time, might be close to impossible. Nevertheless, stranger things have happened. I can honestly say that I have never been on a blind date before (contrary to popular belief, I actually don’t even date all that much…I prefer to use the term “hanging out” instead, lol.), so this should noteworthy…and I will have pen and pad in hand for this one, I’m still trying to figure out a way to videotape this, but that may be a bit much to ask of my date—he may actually like his privacy. It’s bad enough when guys find out that I not only work at a magazine, but that I host a show about relationships. They are usually concerned that they will end up in the mag, on the show or in one of my blogs…and rightly so, if you are wack, I have to spill the beans. Think of it as a “public service announcement.” I am just giving advice, as best I can from my own personal experience as a single woman.
